The Organisation
Te Kaunihera ā Rohe o Te Tihi o Maru aims to enable democratic local decision-making and action by, and on behalf of communities, to promote the social, economic, environmental, and cultural well-being of its communities in the present and for the future. The Role / Person

Working as a Planner will put you at the forefront of Council’s RMA functions and regulations. You will be future focused and committed to delivering enduring solutions for our growing community.
Your challenge will be delivering a seamless and timely resource consent process to our customers. This role guarantees diversity and growth; collaborate with stakeholders and work on various urban and rural development, industrial expansions and projects involving heritage, significant natural areas and outstanding landscapes.
We are looking for an individual with sound knowledge of the RMA who is keen to learn the Local Government ropes. By way of background, you will hold a relevant tertiary qualification with a Planning or Resource Management focus.
